Ways to Get Involved
There’s a role for everyone. Pick what excites you most.
Pony Events
Assist at Paint-with-a-Pony events and community appearances with Oreo and Coco. Help with brushing, leading, and keeping the experience magical for kids and families.
Community Outreach
Represent TGC at tabling events, health fairs, and community gatherings. Share our mission and connect families with the care they need.
Front Desk & Admin
Support our office team with scheduling, phones, and administrative tasks. Help us keep things running smoothly so our clinicians can focus on care.
Fundraising Ambassador
Rally your network around TGC's mission. We'll give you everything you need to host fundraisers, share our story, and make a real difference in your community.
Skilled Volunteer: Creative

A Day You Won't Forget
Picture this.
It’s a sunny Saturday at a community event. Families are walking up, kids tugging their parents toward the little crowd that’s gathered. And there, in the middle of it all, is a miniature therapy pony named Oreo.
A child stops. Their eyes go wide. For a moment they forget to be shy, forget whatever they were carrying that morning, and they just reach out and smile.
You’re the reason that moment happens.
That’s what volunteering with Transformative Growth Counseling looks like. However you choose to help, your time goes straight toward making moments like that possible.
We serve children and families who fall through the cracks of our mental health system. They earn too much for Medicaid and too little for private insurance. Many have been turned away before they found us. And when they arrive, they need more than clinicians. They need a community that shows up for them.
That community is our volunteers.
Whether you’re leading Oreo or Coco at an event, greeting families at the front desk, rallying the people around you, or putting your skills to work behind the scenes, you’re part of the reason a child gets the care they deserve.
We’ll train you. We’ll support you. We’ll make sure every hour you give counts toward something real.
