This model allows K–12 schools to strengthen existing supports or establish a complete mental health infrastructure—without the burden of hiring and maintaining full-time in-house providers.
A Formalized K–12 Mental Health Partnership Framework
Transformative Growth Counseling is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to mental health services for underserved populations. Through formal K–12 partnerships, TGC delivers SEL-aligned, school-embedded mental health services that integrate seamlessly into daily school operations.

Tiered K–12 Partnership Options
Schools may choose from three levels of support, allowing districts to scale services as needed.
Tier 1: Foundational Support
- Mental health referral system
- Immediate in-house ADHD and Autism screening
Tier 2: Expanded Access
Includes Tier 1 services, plus:
- Telehealth mental health appointments during the school day
- Services delivered via secure huddle rooms or iPad setups
Tier 3: Comprehensive Embedded Services
Includes Tier 1 and Tier 2 services, plus:
- Fully staffed in-person and online mental health and social work services
- Evidence-based children’s resilience programming
- A set number of free student sessions, with continued care available at $40 or less per session
- Immediate response for students experiencing a mental health crisis
- SEL trainings for students, staff, and families
- Professional Development Units (PDUs) for educators
- Peer-to-peer programming, including training, supervision, and liability support
