My name is Rachel, and I am so happy you are here. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and am currently completing my Master of Social Work at Loyola University Chicago. My experience in the social services field include my internship at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), during which I educated middle and high school students about the importance of mental health and healthy stress management. I also have experience working with adults in both the behavioral health field and in case management. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, rewatching tv shows, and listening to audiobooks on long walks.

My approach to therapy is to foster a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I believe in a strengths-based and collaborative approach to therapy. As your therapist, we will build upon your strengths in order to empower you to face life with your best foot forward. Together, we can build a plan that makes you feel safe, is unique to your experience and celebrates your identity.

I am deeply passionate about providing mental health care that is accessible and inclusive. Mental health is just as important as physical health and I applaud you for taking the first step in prioritizing your mental health. I look forward to partnering with you to take the next steps in your journey!
