What is Neurodiversity / Neurospicy?

Understanding Neurodiversity

Neurodiversity encompasses a range of neurological differences, like autism and ADHD. Each person has unique strengths and challenges. For example, someone with autism may excel in patterns but struggle socially. Similarly, those with ADHD may thrive on ideas but struggle with organization.

Neurospicy is a term that arose to express the neurodivergent experience, aiming to reduce stigma. By embracing it, individuals assert their unique cognitive identities, fostering inclusivity and understanding.

Embracing neurodiversity means celebrating cognitive differences. It involves creating inclusive environments where everyone’s strengths are valued, and challenges are met with support. Through understanding, we unlock the potential of all individuals.

How does this service help me?

Our programs are designed to empower individuals across the neurodiversity spectrum by fostering the development of essential skills and activities OF daily life. Through evidence-based techniques, we address core deficits while leveraging strengths to maximize potential. Simply put, this service puts Morgan, a behavioral expert, in your home to help you organize and clean. Procrastinating, feeling overwhelmed or “frozen” are all  real and legitimate  symptoms of mental health challenges that impede you from completing your daily actives of living, such as household chores.  We can help you overcome this challenge!

Do I need a diagnosis for this service:

Yes and no. If you don’t wish to use insurance, then no. You can talk to Morgan and discuss how cash payments work.  If you’d like to use your insurance benefits, then you would need to have a mental health diagnosis that affects your ability to clean and organize; which includes a very wide range of diagnoses, actually. Examples include: Anxiety, Depression, Panic, OCD, etc. While many people who utilize this service fall under the category of “Neurospicy”, you don’t have to have a neurological diagnosis to benefit from this service!

Do we accept insurance?

YES! The following are some of the major insurances we accept:

  • Cigna
  • United Healthcare
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO
  • UMR
  • Compsych
  • Atena

Meet Morgan

Morgan Gilly
Board Certified Behavioral Analyst and Professional Organizer

I have an unwavering passion for assisting individuals in devising effective organizational systems. As a former board-certified behavioral analyst and special education teacher, I have sought out opportunities to help others create meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.

Organizing may feel like a (possibly literal) hill that you just can’t seem to climb. You may not know where to even begin to sort through years of possessions. Maybe you have tried organizing, several times, in fact, but nothing seems to stay that way for long.

That is where I come in. I take what I have learned about behavior change, as well as my love for organizing, to help you feel good about the space you spend so much of your time in. I have a strict “no judgement” policy. When I come into your home, classroom, or business, I am there for you every step of the way without question or discouragement. Think of me as your personal organizing coach and cheerleader (minus the pom poms).

Let me take the time to help you organize so that you have the time for what you love.
