Therapeutic & Clinical Settings
Equine-assisted interaction has documented benefits in therapeutic settings. We work with clinical programs, treatment centers, and mental health organizations to offer supervised pony visits as a meaningful complement to existing programming.
Pricing & Reservation
This Pony Event experience is offered as a donation-tier gift in kind that directly supports mental health care for uninsured and underinsured children in our community.
- A minimum tax-deductible donation of $350 reserves your 2-hour Pony Event with one pony. A donation of $450 brings both Oreo and Coco to your event.
- Travel within 15 miles of the Oswego ZIP code is included; additional mileage is $1 per mile round trip.
- Your reservation is finalized once our team confirms availability, safety, and your event details.
You’ll receive a 501(c)(3) donation receipt for your records, and 100% of your pony event donation goes toward closing the mental health coverage gap for children and families who can’t afford care.
For your donation, your Pony Event includes:
- Oreo and/or Coco, brought to your approved outdoor location
- Pony dressed in your choice of costume from their extensive wardrobe
- Brushing, petting, and lots of fun interactions
- Simple pony + guest games and activities
- Unlimited photos and videos with the ponies
- One printed & framed 4×6 photo of your group or honoree
What to Expect on Event Day
On the day of your event, our handler will:
- Arrive early to unload, prepare, and settle the pony
- Walk your group through simple safety guidelines
- Introduce guests to the pony at a comfortable, unhurried pace
- Let the Pony Event Begin!

We design every visit to feel calm, supportive, and memorable.
Weather & Rescheduling
Because we work with live animals outdoors, safety always comes first. If there is severe weather (lightning, storms, ice, deep mud, or extreme heat/cold), we may not be able to bring the pony.
If conditions are unsafe:
- We will reschedule your visit to a new date.
- Our team will help find the next best time that works for you.
Your donation continues supporting TGC’s mental health access programs and is not refunded, since this is a charitable, donation-tier experience.

Planning Your Pony Event
To help your event run smoothly and safely, we ask organizers to provide accurate information when booking — such as expected guest count, ages of attendees, accessibility needs, special accommodations, and any sensory or safety considerations.
Good communication helps us prepare the right pony or ponies, staff support, and setup so your event is relaxed and enjoyable. If anything changes before your event — guest count, location, time, or special needs — please let our team know as soon as possible.
Because pony events can be outdoors and involve live animals, we appreciate your flexibility with any weather-related changes or timeline adjustments. Our goal is always to provide a safe, fun, and memorable experience.
