Melodi Hickey offers humanistic, person-centered therapy that focuses on incorporating mindfulness meditation and a mind-body-spirit approach to treatment. Melodi’s warmth, humor, insight, and collaborative and compassionate style are at the core of what’s helpful to her clients. She uses evidence-based practices to deliver affirming and validating services. She believes and operates from the lens that people are naturally creative, resourceful & whole, that mindful movement is a natural medicine, that breath is the base of all healing.

In her work with clients, Melodi specializes in anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, self-esteem, life transitions, and couple’s issues. She provides a safe, non judgmental space for individuals to develop personal insight and awareness into the unique parts that make up their entire being. Melodi attunes to the underlying needs of clients including thoughts, beliefs, emotions, habits, relationships, energy, and physical symptoms – assisting clients to feel seen, heard, and felt.

In the midst of “social distancing” and the response to the current coronavirus pandemic many individuals are feeling isolated and overwhelmed by uncertainty in their own lives and in the world around them, teletherapy sessions can offer support and lessen feelings of isolation and loneliness while keeping clients safe. Melodi offers flexible times and is available for appointments.
