Master’s Level Internship Program
Transformative Growth Counseling (TGC) offers a structured and supportive clinical internship exclusively for master’s level counseling, psychology, and social work students. Our interns gain hands-on experience through direct clinical work, peer-to-peer programming, community outreach, and program development — all while helping increase access to care for underserved communities.
Master’s Level Internship Program
Transformative Growth Counseling (TGC) offers a supportive and educational clinical internship for master’s level counseling, psychology, and social work students. Interns gain hands-on experience in clinical work, community engagement, and program development while serving individuals and families in need.
TGC is a mission-driven nonprofit that provides therapy and behavioral health services to underserved and marginalized communities. As an intern, you gain meaningful experience while helping expand access to care for those who need it most.
What Master’s Level Interns Will Experience
Direct clinical work under licensed supervision
Peer-to-peer programming and case collaboration
Community outreach and education
Exposure to research programming (when applicable)
Opportunities to contribute to program development and equity-focused initiatives
This is a 6–12 month internship, depending on program requirements.
Application Timeline & Requirements
The typical application cycle runs November to Mid-March.
We accept applicants on a rolling basis, though spaces are limited each semester, so early application is recommended.
If your school follows a different academic calendar or has requirements outside this timeline, you are still encouraged to apply. Please indicate your timeframe in your email.

Unofficial transcript
(Optional but encouraged) A writing sample
Examples: case study, research paper, clinical reflection, or any piece demonstrating professional writing skills.

Who We’re Looking For

Licensed clinicians typically work:
2–3 days per week in-office
Telehealth sessions from home on remaining days
This hybrid model supports flexibility while maintaining strong clinical collaboration.
