Carmisha Foster, MA, LPC

Carmisha is passionate about helping individuals help themselves. She is dedicated to helping clients work through daily life challenges, traumatic experiences and/or major life events, by empowering them with the skills, tools and resources to overcome challenges and obstacles prolifically.

Carmisha takes a holistic approach to therapy, providing a non-judgmental and compassionate atmosphere in which clients feel safe to explore and work through their thoughts, feelings, conflicts (internal/external) and beliefs. She feels it is important for clients to explore more than just their presenting problem but the factors that may contribute to the presenting problem. These factors may include their career, personal life, family constellation and/or community.

In helping clients actualize their personal goals, Carmisha uses a variety of evidenced based counseling theories and treatment modalities because she values diversity and knows therapy is not a “one size fits all” service.
