- Put one hand on your stomach and one hand on your chest.
- Take a deep breath from your stomach and silently count to four as you breathe in.
- Hold your breath while counting to seven.
- Breathe out completely while counting to eight.

Since caffeine is a stimulate it often times “hypes” you up, which can exasperate your emotions, which means it has the potential to “stress” you out more. Stimulants increase your heart rate which can also cause elevated blood pressure. Increased blood pressure also lead some people to experience hyperexcitibility, or hyper irritability. This is also true for those of you who smoke, or you other products containing nicotine.
Get Out and Get Some Exercise
Exercising can release endorphins, and for those of you who don’t know, endorphins are the chemicals in our brain that can cause us to experience euphoria (happiness). Besides being able to help you reduce stress, exercise is important for staying healthy, and staying in shape. If you don’t like running, or going to the gym, try going for a walk instead.
